What drew me to LiveCA was how genuinely tech-forward and well-rounded the firm is. Jason co-authored a book (Blindspotting), and Chad has a deep interest in AI and automation and how it can be used to accelerate the accounting/finance function in business (automationtown.io), it really piqued my curiosity. But I knew LiveCA was where I needed to be when the interview didn't feel like an interview at all; it felt like a real conversation. Since then, that same energy of genuine connection and transparency has come through in every conversation I've had with the teamI completed my BBA in Finance in 2018 and my CPA in 2020, but I don't think the learning ever really stops. Lately that's meant working through books like: the 100M series, How to Grow Your Small Business, Atomic Habits, DOAC, and How to Win Friends and Influence People, with Good to Great and Ready, Fire, Aim up next. Outside of work, I'm big into strength and conditioning, recently entered the 1000lb club after hitting SBD 1RMs totalling 1355lbs (S-455, B-405 bench, D-495). I love balancing out work and gym with long walks at the beach and hikes whenever I can get outside.
