I came to LiveCA because I wanted to become a part of the future of Accounting, Bookkeeping, Taxes, and Payroll. The world is moving to the cloud with these aspects of small businesses and technology is always improving and moving fast. I wanted to work alongside subject matter experts in these fields and run with the right herd; a herd that has the type of environment that focuses on positivity and where everyone helps support and lift each other up to their full potential. LiveCA has such a culture and I’m glad to be a part of it.

Personal development is very important to me I have been taking evening and online courses to further my education and I graduated from St. Lawrence College with a Bookkeeping Certificate. I’m currently working towards a PCP designation through the Canadian Payroll Association and I’m hoping in the next 10 years to become a CPA.

Spare time is a commodity that’s hard to find, but when I’m not spending time with LiveCA I’m spending as much time as I can with my wife and son. We enjoy camping, beaches, kayaking, and biking. My reading material is kind of boring, I read payroll and accounting books for self-education, but usually enjoy a good self-help book, I’m currently reading an old one by Anthony Robbins called Awaken the Giant Within that I found at Value Village. I also enjoy being in the gym doing CrossFit and powerlifting a couple of times a week.
